NUSC Girls Have Success at Pike Fest

Congratulations to the U-12 Girls Premier team for winning Pike Fest last weekend. The girls went undefeated the entire weekend, beating Westfield in the Championship match. The girls only gave up 4 goals all weekend and scored 17 goals. Great job this weekend girls.
NUSC U-11 Girls National team were finalists this past weekend. The girls had two wins and one tie on pool play and made it to the championship match. Great job
U-12 Girls National team made it to the semi-finals of Pike Fest.
Congratulations to all the girls that competed in Pike Fest and represented Noblesville United Soccer Club.

Background Check Cards

If you are a Recreational Soccer Coach at NUSC you must complete a background checkthrough the Indiana Youth Soccer Association. Once completed all coaches must carry a Background Check Card with them at all times when coaching a team. If you are having trouble printing a Background Check Card please follow the directions listed in a blog which can be accessed by CLICKING HERE.

NUSC’s Fall Soccer Kickoff!!! August 27, 2010

Plan to join us Friday

August 27^th, from

5:30-8:30pm at the fields

We will have a disc jockey, concessions serving pizza or steak sliders along with drinks for a $1 per serving and other activities including an academy/travel coaches game.. which proved to be very entertaining for the kids last spring. We are also hosting a special FREE competition event for all the kids to participate in, brought to us by the Noblesville Elks #576, a great sponsor for NUSC.

Elks Shoot

When: 5:30-8:30 pm, Friday, August 27th
@ the NUSC Fall Kickoff

Where: NUSC Complex

Who: Four age divisions (U8, U10, U12, and U14) based on age on August 1st, 2010

Details: Bring a ball and be ready to kick it!

Awards: Trophies will be awarded and the winners advance to the District Competition this fall!

**If you are registered with NUSC for this fall in recreational, academy or travel, just show up and sign up!
If you are notregistered with NUSC for this fall, you need to bring proof of age (birth certificate or passport) and you may sign up!

NUSC Coaches named head coaches of Olympic Development Program teams!

Bryce Cooper and Steven Cox have been named Head Coaches for the Olympic Development Program. Bryce will be the Head Coach of the 1997 Boys Younger Team while Steven will be coaching the 1995 Boys Team. This will be Bryce’s second year as a Head Coach while Steven has served as a Head Coach for three years. The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) provides high-level training to benefit and enhance the development of players at all levels and develops a mechanism for the exchange of ideas and curriculum to improve all levels of coaching. Highly-skilled players identified through the ODP program may earn opportunities to compete at Regional or National levels. For the 2010-2011 ODP year, the Indiana Olympic Development Program will offer programming for boys and girls born in 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995 and 1994. Bryce and Steven will be conducting an ODP informational night for NUSC in October. We will be sending out more information in the weeks to come.

Rec Parent Meeting, Thursday 8/12/2010, 7PM @ NIS

Our fall season Recreational League Parent Information Meeting is Thursday, August 12th at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria of the Noblesville Intermediate School (NIS). All parents and players are invited to attend as we will be going over information, special events, and important dates for the season. NIS is located on Hague Road just north of the fields. Hope to see you there!
